On March 26, the Provincial Department of Industry and Trade in coordination with the Import-Export Department - Ministry of Industry and Trade held a conference to promote investment in logistics service in Phu Tho province in 2024.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee gave a closing speech at the conference.

Attending the conference were Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Mr. Nguyen Anh Son - Director of Agency of Foreign Trade; leaders of the Provincial Departments of Industry and Trade of Vinh Phuc, Bac Ninh, Bac Giang, Yen Bai, Tuyen Quang provinces; representatives of associations, entrepreneurs, experts and investors.

At the conference, representatives of the Agency of Foreign Trade introduced policies and orientations for Vietnam’s logistics development; implement some contents of Resolution No. 163/NQ-CP dated December 16, 2022 of the Government; promote development and attract investment in developing logistics infrastructure, especially two provincial logistics centers and one regional logistics center planned in Phu Tho province.

Opinions at the conference affirmed that Phu Tho has many favorable conditions to develop regional logistics, however, it still has some difficulties. Continued implementation of solutions to attract investment, support and encourage the development of logistics services will support and create advantages, as well as promote socio-economic development of the province.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Hai also affirmed that attracting investment to develop new logistics systems in the province is identified as a key task, contributing to promoting industrial development. Committed to always accompanying entrepreneurs to remove difficulties and obstacles throughout the process of research, investment and operations in the area.
