OKF (Overseas Kids Foundation) is an Australian NGO that supports poor children, orphans and poor households, including projects that sponsor scholarships, school equipment and medical equipment, nutrition support, clean water supply and environmental sanitation. Furthermore, OKF also supports the development of livelihoods for people in the project area.
OKF's support commitments are implemented annually and have been deployed in communes such as Minh Hac, Yen Luat, Chue Luu, Vo Tranh and Bang Gia. Up to now, 150 students have been and are receiving support through all levels of education from primary, middle school to high school and 6 students have graduated from university. Interestingly, this student who, after graduating from a college, has participated as a volunteer in OKF projects in Ha Hoa district

OKF also supports educational equipment and books at some kindergartens, primary schools and secondary schools, in which OKF has handed over 150 sets of student desks and chairs, 30 bookcases, electric fans for classrooms, 25 sets of computers, some projectors and other equipment. In addition, OKF has sponsored projects to develop livelihoods and increase income for local people, which have also achieved encouraging results, such as funding to buy livestock breeds, supporting women to start businesses in hairdressing and tailoring, and supporting projects to grow trees for leaves to decorate with flowers.

In 2024, OKF continues to announce scholarship support for nearly 60 students in difficult circumstances. We hope this will be a meaningful gift to motivate those students before entering the new school year.
