On the evening of March 31, at the Van Lang Park stage, the People’s Committee of Viet Tri City organized a Xoan Singing performance featuring clubs from the city’s education sector.

The program showcased various performances, including Invite the King - Giao Phao by the Xoan Singing and Folk Songs Club of Gia Cam Primary School and Catching Snails (developed from the folk song Gheo) by the Xoan Singing and Folk Songs Club of Nong Trang Secondary School.
More than 250 students from 15 primary and secondary school clubs participated, presenting 15 performances of ancient Xoan singing, developing Xoan singing, and unique folk songs. The performances were meticulously staged, featuring diverse themes that honored the contributions of the Hung Kings, celebrated the homeland and the nation, and depicted the lives of working people.
A large audience, including locals and tourists, gathered to enjoy the event, appreciating the rich cultural heritage displayed through these traditional performances.
The Xoan Singing program is part of a series of special cultural activities held in celebration of the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day and the 2025 Cultural-Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land. This event provided an opportunity for participating clubs to exchange knowledge, discuss the origins and significance of Xoan singing, and explore its unique cultural values.
By fostering awareness and appreciation for this intangible cultural heritage, the program contributes to the preservation and promotion of Xoan singing while encouraging greater participation in folk music activities.
