On May 26, the delegation from Shimane Prefecture, Japan led by Governor Tatsuya Maruyama visited and worked with Phu Tho Province. Mr. Bui Van Quang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the working session with the delegation. Attending the meeting was Mr. Vu Nhat Ha - First Secretary, representative of the Ministry of Planning and Investment at the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan.
At the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Bui Van Quang briefly introduced favorable conditions in the province’s investment attraction activities. Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee hoped that through the visit and working in Phu Tho, the two provinces of Shimane and Phu Tho would strengthen the cooperative relationship, practical and sustainable attachment on the basis of promoting similar potentials and strengths; especially in agriculture, tourism and rich traditional cultural values... Always welcoming businesses to invest in the province, including businesses from Japan, Phu Tho commits to always creating all favorable conditions to accompany investors.
Giving sincere thanks for the affection and warm welcome of Phu Tho province to the Delegation, Governor Tatsuya Maruyama emphasized: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh’s visit to Japan in December 2023 has strengthened cooperative relations between the two countries; creating conditions for Shimane Prefecture to have opportunities to cooperate with localities in Vietnam, including Phu Tho Province. Like many provinces and cities in Japan, Shimane Prefecture is facing an aging population and a shortage of labor resources. Therefore, Shimane wishes to cooperate with Phu Tho province in the field of labor, actively supporting and coordinating to send people to work and live in Shimane Prefecture. In addition, the two provinces will strengthen cooperation and exchange in the fields of industrial production, high-tech agriculture and tourism...
During the visit, the Shimane Prefecture delegation visited the Hung Kings’ Temple Historical Relic Area, Vietnam Sunergy Cell Co., Ltd. at Cam Khe Industrial Park and the Vietnam - Japan Cultural Exchange Center at the Wyndlam Thanh Thuy Hot Mineral Tourist Area.
